Dear participants of the Forum!

On behalf of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision I congratulate all the participants of the Forum of nuclear industry suppliers “ATOMEKS 2011” with its opening and wish success in your work.

The events at NPS “Fukushima Daiichi” in March, 2011 actualized the security issues in the course of use of nuclear energy, qualified management of technogenic risks, early warning and coordinated elimination of consequences of emergency situations.

Particular attention should be given to prospective projects on construction of nuclear power stations NPS, reasoned design, technical and organizational solutions, ensuring of quality of systems and equipment used at NPS.

In current conditions of development of the Russian nuclear power generating complex it is also becoming very urgent the purpose of ensuring the quality of construction of NPS units, compliance with requirements of norms, rules and regulations.

In this context actuality of subject of this conference is obvious.

I am confident that the Forum will contribute to greater understanding in the issues of improving the safety of facilities using nuclear power, to attract new suppliers of nuclear industry guaranteeing quality of their production.
